And boy am I happy after getting this box!
FabFitFun is normally $49.99 per quarter for a box valued at least $200. If you keep an eye out you can usually find $5-10 off your first box coupons via their social media, or you can use my referral code for $5 off. If you order soon you will get the box pictured here, with very little variation - the scarf can come in multiple designs (just be sure they are still advertising the Spring box).
Opening the Box
I am really impressed, because the tracking information showed I wasn't supposed to get this for another 2 days. I love it when things come faster than expected!
Inside we have the big reveal card (which details every item in the box) and all the fun for this month! I am so excited because I got the design of scarf I was hoping for (spoilers showed 2 styles, and this one is very much more "me".
Item #1: Jules Smith Scarf in Modern Art

Value: $42
This scarf is the perfect, lightweight scarf I have been looking for to wrap around the base of my sock buns to give me an updated pretty hairstyle. I am really excited to have this scarf for spring scarf like this, and depending on how much I end up using it I will probably be looking around for more options for scarves to use in my hairstyles.
The Modern Art design has much more bold colors than the watercolor, which is why I really wanted this one. Both options were really pretty though.
Item #2: Palmetto Derma Collagen booster and Restoration Serum
"Sun, smoke and smog suck. But this spring you're in luck because we're giving you a free radical fighting super serum to keep your skin safe from the daily elements. This powerful formula increases collagen growth, rapidly slows down the aging process, fills fine lines and minimizes wrinkles once and for all!"Value $48
I've never used a Serum, but this one feels nice. I really need to get into a better habit of doing a night-time beauty routine, so perhaps this will be the kick in the pants I need to do that. This serum has little to no perfume, and dries nearly instantly on the skin. It doesn't leave any sticky or greasy feeling behind.
Item # 3: Merrithew 3 DVD Set "Intense Body Blast" & $25 Gift Certificate
"Blast your bod into bikini shape this season! Merrithew's intense body blast three-part DVD set gives you a full body workout by taking basic HIIT (High intensity interval training) principals and combining them with simple Stott Pilates moves for an effective and rewarding workout! Head over to merrithew.com to and put your $25 gift card toward one of their 500 fitness products!"
Value: $61 (Likely includes the $25 gift card in this value)
Earlier this month I put my money on the line that I could lose 4% of my bodyweight by April 16th. I'm thinking this DVD might just help me reach that goal! I'm going to save the gift card until after the DietBet is over so I can reward myself with a fun prize for reaching my goal.
Item #4: ORLY Nail BB Creme
"Like BB Creme for your face? Then you are going to love it for your nails! Nail the look of a natural mani with this time saving, uber fabulous, all in one topical cosmetic treatment that helps to smooth, moisturize and brighten natural nails with a super cute sheer peach tint"
Value: $15
Things I love? Nail polish! Things I love more? Nail treatments that keep my nails strong between manicures. I am a big fan of the ORLY line, and this is perfect for the weeks in between my nail designs. It specifies it is not designed to be used as a base, color or topcoat, so it has to be used on it's own. I'll report back how well it works!
Item #5: ORLY Nail Polish "Cake Pop"
"Pop this pretty polish on, and you're sure to feel springtime-ready. This subtle pink creme color looks gorge on everyone, and will soon become your go-to hue. #Hellospring"
Value: $8.50
I have never been a huge fan of light shades on my nails. I am mid-mani right now, so I didn't swatch this one, but I may be able to find a home for it in my collection.
Item #6: Yasi metallic Flash Tattoos:
"Get Festival Ready in a flash! These gorgeous metallic designs are the perfect, chic accessory for all of your spring music festivals, beach vay-k's and really anytime you want to sparkle"
Value: $36
Trends I don't get: Temporary tattoo jewelry. Sorry, just don't get it. So if you get it and would like this sent your way, let me know and we can work out details!
Item #7: Rifle Paper Co. Cities Coaster Set:
"From coast to coast you're sure to love this uh-dorable coaster set featuring illustrations of the world's most loved cities. Feed your wanderlust with images of New York, London, Tokyo and Paris - all in a beautiful keepsake box"Value: $16
I love that these are $20 less than the pointless jewelry tattoos. They are so nice! We use coasters regularly in this house, so these will get used. They have a great texture and weight. They also came with a coupon, and I do know I like this company, so I might just use it. This item might just be my favorite in the box.
Item #8: OFRA Cosmetics Eyeshadow Brush Duo (#11 & #20)
"Brush up on your makeup skills! It's time to spring clean your brushes because this new duo will make you a total beauty pro! Brush #11 is the perfect eyeshadow application tool to make those peepers pop. Brush #20 is designed to help you apply concealer/corrector or any liquid or silk peptide foundation." (And then there is a coupon code!)
Value: $45.90
I've got a confession to make. In that giant, pulled out photo of all the items in the box I posted above I forgot to put these brushes in the frame. I was so excited about them that I ran them upstairs to unwrap and put in my train-case. They are really soft and super nice. I can always use more brushes, and I am starting to look at what brand I would like to invest some $$ into when I upgrade from the $12 set I'm using now.
Item #9: Sprout It App Card & Miracle Grow Gro-able Seed Pod
"Spring is the perfect time to grow green! Miracle-Gro Gro-ables are all-in-one seed pods containing everything you need to grow your own veggies and herbs by simply removing the lid and placing in the soil. Earn a green thumb with Sprout It, an app that makes gardenign easier with reminders and tips from planting to harvest, customized to your location and garden!"Value: $1.49 for seed pod, App is free
I got basil. I don't know if everyone will get basil. I love basil. I already have basil seeds for the garden. Seems like the perfect way to do a compare and contrast on how well this pod grows! I will take photos during the Summer and report back in the fall!
Item #10: Cosmos Creations Premium Puffed Corn (Sponsored)
I'm not going to bother writing out their blurbs for the sponsored items (because I'm tired of typing!) This is caramel corn. Apparently fancy caramel corn. It's all natural, non GMO corn, no hulls or kernals and gluten-free. All very honorable things. And delicious. Because it is hard to not have delicious caramel corn. This bag is now empty, aren't you glad I got a photo of it before some mysterious person came along and ate the whole thing?
I wills say, I liked the texture of this popcorn, it was almost cheetoh-y. Made it very easy to eat. And nothing stuck in my teeth!
Value: $1.49*
Item #11: Vow to be Chic Gift Card (Sponsored)
No photo for this one (because I want to keep the code to myself!). This website seems to be similar to Rent the Runway. I wish I could keep it for longer than the Sept 1st expiration and let a bridesmaid use it for the wedding, but sadly, it must be used. I guess I'll have to convince D to take me somewhere fancy!Value: $125*
Item #12: Hello Fresh Gift Card (Sponsored)
Hello Fresh is one of those boxes I keep thinking sounds like a great idea but I keep hemming and hawing over it. I like the idea of this gift card, but frankly it is the same promo they offer on all of their facebook ads, so it doesn't really feel like much of a bonus. I might finally break down and try the first box anyway, just to see what they're all about.Value: $40*
The final word:
I was nervous about this box after the long wait for the Winter box, but I'm pretty sure they've more than won me over. I'll give them one more box to see. The winter box, though it took a while to get to me, was great and I used pretty much every item from it. I'm pretty sure the Spring box will be the same.Heck, even the cats love it:
Total value: $273.89
*Sponsored items do not count toward the total value of the box as FabFitFun considers them as a "Bonus"
